You can buy a king metal bed with a mattress as part of our special offer - and get £100 off the total price when you buy both together. A great way to save while upgrading your whole sleep setup.

How much weight can a king-size metal bed frame hold?

Our king-size metal bed frames are strong and supportive, holding up to 500kg (78 stone) including mattress and occupants. Some reinforced models may hold more - please check specific product listings for details.

Sprung slats or solid slats?

Sprung slats have a slight curve for some give, for comfort and mattress life. Solid slats provide firmer support and are ideal if you prefer a sturdier sleeping surface. Sprung slats are generally better for softer mattresses, and solid slats are for more support.

Is a king-size metal bed right for my room?

If your room has enough space a king-size bed is more comfortable - especially for couples or taller people. Make sure to measure your room, including walking space and other furniture before choosing a king-size frame. As a rule of thumb you should have at least 60cm of clearance around each side.
