Unexpected Red Theory - How to use reds more effectively
According to @intayriors, adding a pop of red to any bedroom makes a room look more appealing. Taylor says we should treat reds as a neutral. Do you agree? Disagree?

Why does a pop of red (or any other colour) work?
It’s all about contrast. According to colour theory, contrasting colours make each other pop. If you add some red in a red room, the unexpected colour theory fails to have the effect necessary. However, if you add a pop of red in a green or blue room it pops. You can have the same effect by using any deep green, blue or pink.
So rather than calling it the unexpected red theory perhaps it should be called the unexpected contrast theory.
